I played the embittered and manipulative Staff Sergeant Clive Burns in
this intriguing, multi-layered post-WWII play in the Loft’s
Douglas Ford Studio. (This picture was taken before a member of the
audience on the second night was kind enough to wait for me in the bar
after the performance just so he could tell me my cap was the wrong
way round: the badge should be over the left eye, not the right.
